Austin – Le Garage Sale, January 27 – 28
Over 80 independent retailers and designers are selling end of season merchandise at rock bottom pricing. Fredericksburg – Blues Festival, January 20
The 11th Annual Blues Festival is the perfect event to dance your heart out: A day dedicated to enjoying Blues in the legendary Luckenbach Dance Hall. Tickets for the festival are available here for $30.

 

Frisco – VIP Tour of The Star
Whether you’re the Cowboys’ #1 fan or you could care less about football, this VIP Tour of The Star in Frisco is worth it. The guided tour lets you experience where the Dallas Cowboys train and all that The Star offers, including the Grand Atrium, Ford Center, War Room, Nike Star Walk, and Super Bowl memorabilia.

 

Laredo – Washington’s Birthday Celebration, January 18 – February 19

Pearland – Winterfest, January 27
With a weekend forecast of snow and fun, WinterFest in Pearland will be a welcome respite for the whole family! It’s happening at the Pearland Recreation Center and Natatorium, where wintery activities include tubing and snowy play areas, plus live entertainment, a petting zoo and even some “Mad Science” fun to entertain the little ones. Richardson – Wizard of Oz at The Eisemann, January 20
It’s the show you know and love, performed live at the award-winning Eisemann Center in Richardson. Take the family to see Dorothy and the whole gang on January 20th at 8:00pm. Get your tickets here.

 

Round Top – Winter Antique Show
For 50 years, this renowned event has been selling only top-quality, one-of-a-kind antique and vintage items. Come out January 26 & 27 for one of the biggest antique shows in the nation at the Big Red Barn Event Center.

 

San Antonio – River Walk
San Antonio is one of the four most romantic cities in America with good reason. From fabulous riverside hotels to fine dining to evening strolls, the River Walk in San Antonio serves up a unique Texas experience (just steps from the Alamo).

 

Livestock and Rodeo Shows
Put on your boots and head over to a local stockyard show. Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Houston all host their annual rodeos this time of year. If you find yourself at the Fort Worth show, be sure to also check out Sippin’ and Shoppin’ at Stockyards Station.
