The Holocaust Museum in Houston is a great learning experience, with the mission to educate people about the Holocaust, and the dangers of hatred, prejudice and apathy. There are several temporary and permanent exhibits throughout the museum that showcase this tragic piece of history. General admission is $12, but admission is free on Sundays.
The museum is currently undergoing renovations that will double the size of the facility but there is no need to worry because while the renovations take place they have moved the museum to a different location. The sites home page features a countdown to the new look and they even have a live construction cam so you can watch the transformation as you countdown!
