On a recent trip to El Paso, we had the great pleasure of visiting El Paso Imports headquarters and wearhouse and meet with Jack Dulaney, the companys founder and CEO.
In 1987, Dulaney started this unique furniture company by opening his first store in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In the beginning, Jack only worked with antiques from Mexico, but by popular demand he eventually started traveling all over the world. Throughout his travels, he has worked with artisans from Indonesia, Romania, China, India and Europe. El Paso Imports only provides authentic items that are made with nothing but natural wood.
Antiques are a specialty here, and El Paso Imports believes that each piece has its own unique story. By refurbishing and repairing these items, they want to reveal its tale beneath all the chipped paint and scuff marks. If you can’t find what you are looking for, then you can have something custom made to your tastes.
There are several stores throughout Texas, but its warehouse in El Paso is the hidden treasure. Within the massive warehouse, you can find items from the online store as well as some never-before-seen pieces. Shopping in the warehouse is a completely different experience than what you’ll get in the stores. It’s a hands-on opportunity you can’t miss!
