If you’re looking to get a taste of wildlife in the middle of the city, look no further than the El Paso Zoo. The zoo offers 35 acres of fun with features like the Wildlife Theater, Red River Hog, Asia Gateway and Carousel. The zoo is always a great family outing that will add some adventure from around the world to your visit without having to jump on a plane. Coming Fall 2019 the zoo will open the Chihuahuan Desert. The exhibit will have peccaries, wild turkeys, jack rabbits, thick-billed parrots and an interactive ropes course!
