If you love handmade, vintage, and one-of-a-kind finds then you probably already know about Flea Style. But if you don’t, consider this the best day ever.
Brittany Cobb founded Flea Style in 2009 as a way to express her love for shopping all things antique. The SMU grad found that her 10 years of writing lifestyle articles would be the perfect segue for launching this one-of-a-kind shopping event that would please both shoppers and vendors. So she put away the pens and began to grow the event, which attracts more than 12,000 shoppers each year. The event became so successful that one city was not enough, and in 2015 Cobb changed The Dallas Flea to Flea Style and expanded to Houston.
This isn’t your grandma’s flea market, though—it has beautifully handcrafted items from only the best artists. All the vendors at these events are handpicked by the team at Flea Style, so you know they have to be good!
Houston and Dallas host two shows every year—one in the fall and one in the spring.
In the summer of 2016, Flea Style launched into e-commerce and debuted their first-ever custom product line that offers one-of-a-kind style to shoppers. Check out the fashion line as well as home decor that Cobb has put together with a number of talented vendors.
